Spring Into Something New! As the flowers begin to bloom and the days grow longer, our team is ready to share what’s been keeping us inspired this month

Michelle:

The Heart of Winter by Jonathan Evison

In this bighearted and profound portrait of a marriage, Jonathan Evison explores seventy years of big moments in subtle ways, elegantly braiding the Winters’ turbulent history with their present-day battles, showing us how the oddly paired college kids became parents, fell apart and back together, andgrew into the Abe and Ruth of today. Endlessly heartwarming and moving, The Heart of Winter is a reminder that true love lives in small, everyday moments.

Devin:

Horrorstor by Grady Hendrix

This is my first Grady Hendrix book and it was great! A nice mix of silly with a good bit of classic horror mixed in.

Barb:

Meet the Mini-Mammals

A new nonfiction book Meet the Mini-Mammals: A Night at the Natural History Museum by Melissa Stewart and gorgeous illustrations by Brian Lies.

Emily:

The Wedding People by Alison Espach

The Wedding People by Alison Espach was a very fun read!

Erin:

The Paris Novel by Ruth Reichl

The Paris Novel is one of my favorite reads from 2024! If you enjoy Paris, food, art, fashion, as well as a compelling, well-written story, you will likely enjoy this book!

Lynn:

One True Loves by Taylor Jenkins Reid

A great book with a twist on the theme of the movie Castaways.
