Michelle:

The Heart of Winter by Jonathan Evison

In this bighearted and profound portrait of a marriage, Jonathan Evison explores seventy years of big moments in subtle ways, elegantly braiding the Winters’ turbulent history with their present-day battles, showing us how the oddly paired college kids became parents, fell apart and back together, andgrew into the Abe and Ruth of today. Endlessly heartwarming and moving, The Heart of Winter is a reminder that true love lives in small, everyday moments.

Isabelle:

The Observologist by Giselle Clarkson

Lovely drawings and kind, witty humor for budding scientists — or for people like me, who just notice things. There are thirteen life-sized red spider mites hidden throughout the book, and I found them all. According to the end of the book, this means I was probably an Observologist all along.

Back after This by Linda Holmes

I am going with a lighthearted title this month!  Back After This by Linda Holmes.  This romcom involves a podcast producer, Evvie, who is forced by her boss to host a series on modern dating.  She must go on 20 blind dates and follow the guidance of an influencer. When Evvie meets a guy on her own, she is suddenly caught in a tricky situation. Loved the characters-  Evvie is whip smart and hilarious!
