Business Partnership

York Public Library, as a figurative, literal, and cultural center of our town, enjoys wide patronage from those who live or work in the Yorks and Cape Neddick. From young families to seniors, we serve all ages from the Silent Generation and Baby Boomers to Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z.  Our visitors are year-round residents of York as well as “summer folks” from among the tens of thousands who call York home between May and October. There is something for everyone at the library!

YPL receives roughly 65% of its annual operating budget from the Town of York, but relies on the support of donors to meet the educational, informational, cultural and recreational needs of our community. Your sponsorship helps provide the critical funding necessary to sustain the valuable resources and programming we offer this community.

Beyond the goodwill that that comes with your public support of the Library, your business will receive a number of benefits resulting in added exposure within the community.

Our new Business Partnership Program offers year round benefits, including visibility at our wildly popular (and now annual!) event, Mini-Golf at the Library.  Following our inaugural mini-golf event in February 2024, it was unanimous: we must continue this ultra-fun, and ultra-unique event!
