Are you in 4th – 6th grade? Do you want to learn to play the ukulele? Register for our FREE 4 week, virtual Ukulele Workshop with Shea Ellis from Mountain Road Music. The workshop runs Saturday, January 9, 16, 23 & 30 at 10:30 am through Zoom. Need a ukulele? No problem! You can borrow one of the library ukuleles with your library card. Space is limited, so please request a workshop spot early. Click the link below to send a request to register for this workshop. Shea Ellis of Mountain Road Music has his studio in Cape Neddick, Maine. His musical endeavors have led him to study numerous  styles: rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, classical, and fusion. He studied guitar under Fred Zinkgraf, and Maine blues master, Dan Hudson, and In 2008 he graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with BA in History & Music. While in High School Shea was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City as part of the 2004 National High School Carnegie Chorus. His original music has been aired on radio stations throughout the US, such as 92.5 The River, Boston, and he has appeared on stage across the country, including four performances during the 2013 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX.
