Looking for a good book to help you de-stress this holiday season? Try one of favorites!

Sophie:

Tokyo Ever After by Emiko Jean

This is a super cute YA romance about a normal girl who discovers her absent father is actually the crown prince of Japan. It’s fluffy and sweet, but a heartwarming story about family, friendship, and love.

Katie:

Go Sled Go by James Yang

A thrilling sled adventure that will delight readers of all ages. There are fun extras to find on some of the pages, and the story has a satisfying end.

Barb:

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by Robert Frost.

Gorgeous illustrations to Robert Frost’s beautiful poem.

Kelly:

The Blackthorn Key by Kevin Sands

My pick is Blackthorn Key, an absorbing teen mystery set in 1665 London. This is a great start to a fast paced series that readers can get into over winter vacation time.

Emily:

I Found You by Lisa Jewell

When a man loses his memory and is found on the beach by single mother Alice, he begins on a journey to reclaim his lost memory. With typical Lisa Jewell twists and turns, the story is an addictive page turner!

Jeanine:

The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi

There she becomes the most highly requested henna artist and, secretly, an herbal pharmacist to the upper caste women. As she pursues her dream of an independent life, Lakshmi is suddenly confronted by the husband she escaped and a young sister she never knew she had.

Devin:

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

One of my favorite fantasy books of all time.
